This is now the 56th confirmed match for PROJECT 2013B. Over the course of this project, the Zegers/Winograd project that came before it, and matched pairs discovered in the wild at auctions, there are currently 68 confirmed matching pairs. Project 2013B, which was launched in October 2021, began with a list of 10,072 banknotes and now has 7140 members and a database with over 39,260 distinct banknotes.
The 'Fort Worth' printed 2013B star note was registered 2023.07.22 by member SfsA1
The 'Washington DC' printed 2013B star note was registered 2020.12.14 by member 8IjC from an uncirculated bundle of 100 bills
Photos of the bills from both parties officially confirmed a match today.. and both after only being contacted earlier today.
From the day the match was detected in the database, to today's photo verification took less than 1 day.
82% of all known Duplicate Serial Number Pairs have been discovered by Project 2013B!

Starting bid is the 'standard' $1000 that Great Collections seems to always use for these matched pairs. Typically the auction is active for 21 days, but this one is ending in a blistering 12 days.
