Trivia:

The Program for International Student Assessment is administered by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and it tests 15-year-old students around the world. The U.S. placed 16th out of 81 countries in science when the test was last administered in 2022. It did much worse in math, ranking 34th. 

The U.S. scored 465 in math, below the OECD average of 472 and well below the scores of the top five, all of which were in Asia

Perhaps homeschooling should be considered.

Congratulations to the co-owners whose matched pair sold last night at auction. This matched pair was brought together, graded and consigned at Great Collections by Project 2013B. The final price was above my expectations and sold for $1750.00  (not including the 12.5% Buyer's premium that is tacked on top of that by the auction house).  Although the pair is considered circulated condition, it is the highest prce achieved by a pair with the notes graded 20 and 25 respectively.
