Our first match from Hawaii
PROJECT 2013B has it's 71st confirmed match, and what appears to be the first match from the 50th state! There are now 83 confirmed matching pairs over the history of this project, the project that preceded it, and matched pairs spotted at auctions. Started in October of 2021, Project 2013B started with a list of 10,072 banknotes, and now has over 42,885 unique banknotes registered it its database, and 7826 members.
The 'Fort Worth' printed 2013B star note was registered 2021.09.15 by member 5GzUS
The 'Washington DC' printed 2013B star note was registered 2023.10.11 by member iFUuo
Photos of the bills from both parties officially confirmed a match today.
From the day the match was detected in the database, to today's photo verification took 8 days.
Now 85.5% of all known Duplicate Serial Number Pairs have been discovered by Project 2013B !
