Hi, so I received your email about the matching pair!! How so very exciting! So I’m from Connecticut, born and raised. Was always into collecting old money. Bills and coins. I find it to be somewhat of art to me. And I love old things. Some say I’m an old soul. In my mid 40s. Sadly in 5th grade my collection was stolen out of my desk. Guess I shouldn’t have been showing it off!! Live and learn!! I’ve always had jobs with customers and cash. And I always go thru my change and bills to make sure I’m not spending a jem ya know!! Star bills I’d spot a mile away, I’d take them from the drawers as they came in, of course replacing with a regular dollar. I can not pin where this exact one came from! I’ve got a ton of Star bills all together. But the ones I loaded onto your website are in a separate envelope. You know I wasn’t even sure if I loaded mine to your website properly, but looks like I did!! So yeah I’ve always been a collector of Mula!! I have framed bills from WW2 from all over the world, compliments to my late grandfather who served. I still have his military bills as well! Very cool!! Again it’s like art to me!! Sadly my gram sold his extensive collection to a friend of his years ago and well he ripped her off, that whole living and learning thing!! I happen to find his remaining stuff in a chest and maybe were worth nothing to the man who bought it all, but sure means the world to me! So that’s about it. I’ll try and load this pic for you and we can go from there. Sounds like we will go further upon the other owner responding. Your offers I will explore as we go further. Thank you for contacting me!! I’m very excited!! I’ll go by Slim for now!!
Both discoveries were submitted independently and later confirmed as a matched pair by Project 2013B.
